Victim / Witness Notification

The U. S Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Powhatan County Sheriff's Office are committed to protecting the public and ensuring that the rights of victims are carefully observed.

Notification Program
HSI administers a Victim Notification Program which allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable and timely notification regarding a criminal alien's release from custody.

Registration
In order to receive this notification of a criminal alien's release, victims and witnesses are required to register with that agency. Information can be found through the universal resource locator for the HSI Victim Notification Program.
