April 21, 2026 Special Election Announcement
Virginia has scheduled a statewide special election on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 for voters to decide on a proposed amendment to the Virginia Constitution.
Question:Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census? (YES or NO)
DEADLINES:
Register to vote or update your current Voter Registration by 4/14/2026
Apply for ballot to be mailed to you up until 4/10/2026. Application must be received by 5 PM.
EARLY VOTING:
Monday - Friday, March 6, 2026 through April 17th at our Early Voting Drive-Thru. Also open Saturday, April 11th and Saturday, April 18th 2026.
Early Voting Drive Thru Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
