Posted on: March 23, 2020[ARCHIVED] Convenience Center Temporarily Reduces Operations
In an effort to reduce our Convenience Center staff’s potential exposure to COVID-19 while still maintaining the citizens of Powhatan an opportunity to dispose of trash/solid waste we will be temporarily reducing our level of service.
Starting Tuesday 3/24 we will only be accepting recyclables that are placed in the recycling bins and household trash that is bagged and placed in the compactors. We WILL NOT accept "Monthly Free Loads", tires, oil/antifreeze/paint, household construction debris, appliances and metals. Thank you for your cooperation and please stay safe.
