On April 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, the Powhatan County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public with an opportunity to properly dispose of unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the Safe Exchange Zone. The DEA can only accept pills or patches; the DEA cannot accept liquids, needles, or sharps. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
