The GIS Services division of the Department of Community Development manages the County's Geographic Information System (GIS) and provides geospatial data, services, and support to County departments and the general public. GIS Services also produces and maintains a variety of geospatial data as well as producing several digital and print map products.
The division’s core functions are to provide data, maps, graphics, and analysis to County agencies, to enhance the quality and quantity of spatial data and maps, and to provide improved public access to local governmental data and services.
Access to geospatial data is provided by an online GIS application through which data can be queried, mapped, and printed in a variety of formats. Data and maps can also be acquired by submitting a data request form directly to GIS Services.
