Position ObjectivesThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position performs professional accounting work including maintenance of the County’s general ledger and coordination of the annual external audit and Capital Improvement Program. Additional duties include overseeing reconciliation of expenditures and revenues and coordinating accounts payable, in addition to processing of payroll and related tax filings.
Desirable Training & ExperienceThis position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance. Three to five years of experience, preferably in a local government setting, are preferred.
